Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney is an experienced and tenacious immigration attorney, who has dedicated her legal career to protecting the rights of immigrants. Evangeline has years of experience handling many types of immigration cases, including removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, U and T visas, special immigrant juvenile status, VAWA, adjustment of status, citizenship and more.
Evangeline also regularly litigates immigration matters in the federal courts, including unlawful detention by ICE, and delays of immigration applications.

Evangeline graduated with a bachelor’s degree in politics and government from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, and earned her Juris Doctor degree at the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Evangeline was selected as a Minnesota Lawyer Up & Coming Attorney in 2024 for her work defending the rights of immigrant youth, and she was selected as a 2025 Minnesota Lawyer Attorney of the Year for her work to protect the legal rights of international students.
